Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Detoxification Continuing Education Course a 2-day workshop. Both days must be completed to receive CEs. It is presented in a way that explains the purpose, anatomy and flow of the lymphatic system. Edema and how edema accumulates in the body will be explained. Benefits, indications, cautions and contraindications for manual lymphatic drainage are discussed. Participants will learn the correct directions of lymph movement from all parts of the body while understanding watersheds. Correct techniques and pressures are demonstrated and practiced to include a full body treatment.
Castor oil is introduced while explaining its uses, benefits, cautions and contraindications. Participants will learn how to use castor oil packs for detoxification.
The purpose of dry brushing will be explained as well as the techniques and directions when using dry brushing. We will learn how to use dry brushing for detoxification through hands-on practice.

Dress comfortably, as we will be giving and receiving bodywork throughout the day.
